Judson Rogers, aka Sumsun, may not currently prick up ears en masse this side of the Atlantic, but he's been bubbling away as one of the US's finest young producers ever since his debut hit 'Leaving You' scored him a string of live gigs, including a place on the Endless Bummer Festival lineup.
Now signed up proper with matthewdavid's Leaving Records, Judson has recently finished his full length LP and has been drawing attention to his studio tinkerings by churning out floaty, charming mixtapes such as this fine morsel.
Propping up his contemporaries and friends, Sumsun showcases a raw love for all things warm and burred out: smudged bass patterns, synth vortices and pulsating drum sequences merged to create an unresolved web of lushness. Essentially it's a three-quarter pint of post-summer daze that'll keep the chill out for a few more months!
And in predictable fashion this coincides with our 3rd Streets Of Beige party...
