Steve KIW has been DJing since the late 80s and has amassed a collection of over 25,000 records. Unashamedly strictly vinyl. Steve is host of the 'KIW A-Z of Crate Diggin' show on SS Radio (http://funk.ssradiouk.com/) and mixes can be downloaded from http://kiw.podomatic.com/ Steve cut his teeth in the early 90s and was a resident at the legendary Enigma parties, playing their weekly sessions at Babushka as well as Hanover Grand, The Cross and Ministry of Sound. Towards the end of the 90s Steve diversified and began to include disco, soul and funk in his sets and still delights in playing a range of music at each gig. In the mid-90s Steve started his own 'Keeping It Wheel' nights, hence the KIW name. Following spells on London pirate TimeFM, and web stations PushFM and Starpoint Steve moved to Brighton where he is resident at Stone To The Bone and hosts the Crate Diggin' sessions at The Fishbowl. Recent gigs have included Good Times, Vintage Festival, Go Bang and Da Doo Ron Ron.
