Splattermonkey started spinning records in 2003 and has been slowly making his way through the ranks as one of the funkiest D.J.‘s in Toronto. Known for his expansive knowledge of deep funk breaks this D.J. never stops digging for vinyl all over Southern Ontario and America’s Midwest. Bringing his own unique Soul sounds to the Dance floors of Toronto. He scratches and mixes 45’s and 12" records together using funky breaks from all eras of Jazz, Funk, Soul, Rhythm & Blues and Hip Hop music. Splattermonkey never follows trends in any dance music scene, which makes him unique from any other D.J. in Toronto. When you hear Splattermonkey spin you can tell he was greatly influenced by Deep Funk diggers like Afrika Bambataa, Cut Chemist and J Rocc of the Beat Junkies.
