Another podcast, another 45 minutes of deep and mellow jazz business from a year or so ago. We kick things off with two brilliant tracks from two of last year's standard jazz albums, namely Ben Lamdin's Skeleton's project "Smile" and The Souljazz Orchestra's Strut LP "Rising Sun". A trio of rediscovered gems follow from Norman Connors, Kimiko Kasai and Kenny Barron before things finish off nicely with a touch of afro-inspired jazz from Birigwa, The Pharoahs and of course the mighty Fela!.
