Silas Maximus has been a DJ for ten years. His constant reinvention and adapting to a variety of different audiences and genres and becoming bored with the standard DJ mixing one track into another formula has shaped and defined his current sound to be that of what it is today a fast paced genre bending adventure.
In the world of mashup live performance artists Silas Maximus stands out amongst the norm which is largely dominated by talented Laptop performance artists. As a veteren DJ he sticks to his roots and still mixes live on turntables or CD decks layering multiple tracks, samples and loops. Using quick mixes and his own remix and mash up production Silas creates sets that seamlessly blend a variety of genres creating a vibe of anticipation and excitement.
