The 30th of November is the feast day of the patron saint of Scotland, Saint Andrew. It’s clear how important this saint is to the country, I mean the Scottish National Flag is the St Andrew’s cross! So who was Saint Andrew? And how has he been celebrated through the years? And why is everyone still going to work when we’re meant to be celebrating? To find out, Sharna Paterson met with the chairperson of the St Andrews Society, Rina Moore, and started off by asking her, who was Saint Andrew?
