As early as 16 did sasha.b work in the local nightlife in Munich. Back then – in the techno dominated 90s.
He got a taste for being a DJ at 18, when a DJ he was friend with gave sasha.b his first 20 records. Before the events, during which he was supposed to work in the coatroom, he fiddled with the turntables and his new vinyl treasure – and he was instantly hired as a warm-up DJ for the “44 Degree” in Munich’s legendary Nachtwerk Club. A 5-year residency at “Electric Delicate” followed, at the time still under the DJ name “Brain X”. There he worked side by side with colleagues like Thomas Schumacher, Chris Liebing, Toni Rios, Paul Cooper, Massimo and Marco Cannata. In addition he manned the turntables in a number of other clubs in Munich and around, among other events at the legendary after party “Das Wort zum Sonntag”.
