The first track on this episode's show is overlaid with an interview that a British public radio broadcasting service was conducting of Darcus Howe, a West Indian reporter and journalist. Listen as it turned a bit sour, when discussing 'riots' versus 'insurrection'. Right after that, one of Tariq Jahan's brief interviews is overlaid as well; this is the Pakistani-origin Birmingham resident who lost a son (Haroon Jahan) and his two friends to violence- where they were run over by a speeding car. Over the second track, there's an interesting 'street-take' on the riots by a British rapper by the name of 'AC' whose ranting went viral on YouTube. Well, not that viral- but I had to agree with a lot that he was saying- particularly that these rioting youth, despite being wrong in looting and plundering, were probably not going to listen to anyone in a position of authority, even when it came to just 'calming down'
