Applications are now open for the Red Bull Music Academy 2011, which will head to Japan in autumn. To get things rolling, we're presenting a new exclusive mix from a former Academy participant every week from now until the end of the application period. This week’s edition comes from Belgian producer/DJ San Soda. Effervescent and refreshing, both his solo tracks and his work with We Play House label head Red D under the FCL moniker, have been causing a major stir with discerning house music connoisseurs lately. This laid-back “Sunday Session” sees San Soda in eclecticism mode, splicing sonic heart-lifters from blissful boom bap to London bass to classic Detroit soul.

Producers, vocalists, DJs, and instrumentalists of all stripes are invited to apply for the Red Bull Music Academy in Tokyo, between February 2 and April 4, 2011. More info and the application form are available for download on http://www.redbullmusicacademy.com
