"Al Ritmo Del Bump Bump" is a special blend dedicated to the well known latin cover song, since the 7" reissue of the Otto De Rojas Y Los Ultra 76's on the Deja Vu label.
This latin funk version mightbe inspired by the "Soulfull Strut" theme from Young Holt Unlimited and other similar release in the USA.
The closer version of this last one is the one from Luciano Luciani called "Al Ritmo Bump Bump".
The bump bump seem to have been a new dancing style supported by many artist and releases in South America and also in Mexico, where the label Orfeon made two special releases (A compilation and a LP from Grupo Santa Cecilia ) with this "Bump" concept.
So here is the result of month of research to collect all these records with differents "bump" versions. And It was for me a good occasion to create mine so that we can keep the "bump" alive!
