Bloc Winner: Dodgerman
Our BLOC Make Music competition last February belonged to Dodger Man aka Sam Cassman...
His initial reaction to winning was shock and according to Sam, "BLOC was insane and surreal' , festivalling in Butlins with the likes of Kode9 and the ManMakeMusic crew. Following technical hitches, he pulled off an old school Dubstep/Garage set to a hype crowd.
Since then he has focused on production, with a few releases under his belt. Be sure to check out the promo mix.
S&D Winner: Murdok
Former Tomb Crew member, Murdock swept away the Stag and Dagger Competition.
After that he's played abroad and up and down the UK at nights such as Bigger Than Barry, Deadly Rhythm and Night Slugs amongst others.
After the success of his Stag And Dagger mix, he added another volume to the HotOne Ten mix series. Be sure to check out his 30 minute mix fusing an eclectic selection of 2 step, grime and bass.
Braindrop Winner: DJ Vesper
Lee Smart (aka Vesper) graced the decks of The Box at Minstry of Sound and Room 2 at Matter after winning the Braindrop competition last year.

Bench Winner: Rob Drake
After only two years as a DJ, this was the first mix competition Rob Drake entered and he won - making all that hard practice worth while!

Keeping strong with his “The Diary” mixtape series, there are another 2 volumes on their way!
As if all that weren't enough, he’s about to launch a series of mixtapes / box-sets / clubs nights - "Classic Material", celebrating 30 years of recorded hip hop through music, design, photography and film!
DnB Arena Winner: Travelah
Travelah aka Travis Vachal managed to win the SW4 Drum and Bass competition and got the opportunity to play a set alongside a legend of the scene Andy C in London.
Receiving short notice that he'd won, with only 3 days to get to the UK from Arizona, USA. With no plane ticket but more importantly… no passport, the race was on! Traveling 5 hours to the passport office, booking a last minute ticket and asking his girlfriends mum to sub him the fare. Travis Landed on the Sunday morning, played SW4 and returned the following day!

Joe couldn't believe he'd won the first DJ competition he'd ever entered when he woke up to see the congratulating email, especially after listening through the other entries the night previously.
He said it was a massive experience playing in a big London club, supporting the likes of Plastician and Andy C, and Foreign Beggars.
Recently, he has just started university in London and is looking to start his own radio show and his hoping for a slot on GetDarker TV soon...
World Cup Winner: DJ Umb
DJ UMB compiled his world cup soundtrack Cloudcast following a pre tournament trip to South Africa. The winning mix was definitely a world beater, garnering support from the mighty Mad Decent blog.
