BlackBerry Torch Presents

To celebrate the launch of the new BlackBerry® Torch, we've teamed up with 3 of our favourite music magazine sites on the Interweb - Drowned in Sound, Mixmag & DSI and Platform - for a six week feast of Cloudcasts and Competitions.

Competitions

We're also running 2 great competitions with each Partner site (so 6 in total!)

Mix Makers Competition Rules:

  • Inspired by the Partner mix series, Cloudcasters are invited to upload a Cloudcast to Mixcloud
  • Entrants will need to use a specific piece of cover art and label their mix with a unique tag to enter (please see below)
  • You can generate an embeddable widget and post it on Facebook and Twitter to help share and promote it
  • The top 10 entries will be shortlisted by the Mixcloud community, (based on plays, favourites, shares, comments), with the overall winners being chosen by the Partner site
  • The deadline for Mix Makers is Thursday 25th November and winners will be announced w/c 29th November

Mix Lovers Competition Rules:

  • Listeners who share either a Partner Cloudcast or competition Cloudcast will be entered into this competition
  • To qualify for entry, listeners simply have to 'Like' a Cloudcast via Facebook or link to it via Twitter, both of which can be done directly via the widget or on the Mixcloud site
  • Mixcloud will collect and record all shares via these 3 platforms automatically
  • Shares that take place between Monday 18th October and Sunday 28th November will be considered for the competition
  • The winner will be selected at random and notified w/c 29th November

The Best of Drowned in Sound 2000 – 2010 featuring:
