It's. Been. A. Long. Time.
It's been over six weeks since the last podcast and that's the longest I've gone without dropping a mix. There's been work, there's been a holiday and there's been another edition of Get Closer in LA. But there hasn't been a new mix until now! Hopefully you all still remember what PJL is all about. I just started this weekend to go through a backlog of music from the last six weeks and I'm not even close to getting through everything. Well in the meantime here are a bunch of tunes that I've gotten to including new music from Nicola Conte, Dego, Fatima with Floating Points, Owiny Sigoma Band as well as a great compilation from MoWest Records. Phew! I was having withdrawal symptoms...! And i must say i was worried you'd disappeared! Since discovering your mixes a few months ago, me and my partner are massive fans. Just the right mix of new and old, jazz and indie. Right up our alley... great work PJL!!!
