When this mix was recorded I got a fresh batch of records that were delayed in the mail for over a month, needless to say I was anxious to play them. Right as I lay the needle down on the first record the tone-arm slid across as if I was accidentally playing the smooth side of a single sided 12", only thing is I didn't buy any single sided 12". BROKEN NEEDLE! It was a perfect addition to the records being delayed for a month. After pulling out some of my hair, I got to it and busted out the CDJ-800 and mixed a set with the one turntable who's needle wasn't broken and the CDJ. Yeah, I was itching to mix a strictly vinyl set but things happen and it definitely makes this one stand out.
