This week's show contains a couple of essential jazz classics for Alice Coltrane & Pharaoh Sander and the outer-wordly Sun Ra, a new re-issue of some exceptional spiritual jazz from the crew over at Jazzman Records with their latest offering a previously rare as hen's teeth album entitled 'The One" from an 80's band called Azanyah. Then finishing things off with a very nice version of Herbie Hancock's Maiden Voyage which has been getting Mrs. Hedonist off to sleep for the last couple of nights.

I think you'll agree, all essential stuff for another stonking Hedonist Jazz show!

Michael the very first track is one of my all-time favorite jazz pieces. Very out there, cosmic indeed.

Very very nice... And to top it off with Ray Barbee..Saw him a couple years back with Mattson 2 here in Tokyo, very very solid show. Almost as fluid as his skating ; )
