Thought I'd have a go at this new "Trap / Trapstep / Post Trap" stuff that's gaining momentum.. Basically, it's percussion heavy 808's and hip hop samples played at dubstep speed with the occasional cheesy trance/rave breakdown. Simple.
I should probably add, this stuff is quite full on . . not much in the way of lachrymose balladeering here! It may not be to everyone's tastes, but you should at least give it a go I reckon. It's always interesting to see where music is evolving to next, and whilst it may be a "fad" or dubstep and "EDM" producers jumping on a bandwagon, it's undeniably something that's going on right now and catching people's attentions..
