Luis Oviedo (Okhul Ooel) was born in Perú in 1983, where he had as a group favorite, at the age of 7 years, to Depeche Mode. At age 10 years, his family moved to Madrid. Being a teenager he discovered "Soma Experimental Club" in Madrid, this fact changed completely his life and your concept of the electronic music. Soma was those days the best place to listen techno and electronic stuff in Madrid. Soma closed in the late of the nineties, but fortunately for him a new club called "Coppelia 101" opened atferwards. In Coppelia, Okhul Ooel, got in touch with electro music a influence which is noticeable in his way of making music nowadays. A couple of years later he started listening some IDM and minimal. In 2005 he saw a Nathan Fake live, since that day he completely felt in love with this new electronic music really emotional and introspective. So basically this artist and labels like Border Community, Traum impulsed him to start making his own music, with a low-cost gear in his room.
