Matt Spencer, aka Octopod, is a seasoned selector and budding producer.
 He is well known in the Bay for his hypnotic grooves and dynamic live sessions. He is known for his versatile range of styles, from peak-hour, high energy sets to sexy chill-out, as featured in his multi-volume Hydrophilic mix series.


Showcasing a progressive blend of heavy bass music, his goal is simple: 
To help you, the dancer, completely lose your shit.

Octo has shared the booth with Distance, Truth, Mark Instinct, Liquid Stranger, SPL, Minnesota, NastyNasty, and many others, and has remixed and been remixed by Skulltrane, Caidance, Lotus Drops, El Diablo, and other Bay area electronic artists.
