Barclaycard Mercury Prize Podcast Competition

A 30 minute podcast taking a special look at jazz original Gwilym Simcock whose recent album 'Good Days At Shloss Elmau' released on Basho Records, was nominated for the Barclaycard Mercury Music Prize 2011. This podcast looks at the influences and contemporaries of Gwilym, as well as playing other jazz works from previous Mercury nominees.
Presented by 'Backtracking' hosts Nick Taylor and Grace Huber, who volunteer and present a music archive show under the same name for the developmental radio station, Roundhouse Radio; the pair really hope you enjoy their podcast and the brilliance that is Gwilym.
