Nick and Grace look at one of the finest music producers in the world and welcome in a brand new contender to the crown this week on Backtracking.

DJ Shadow's masterpiece Endtroducing is the album of the week, as Nick and Grace play through the amazing hip-hop tunes that sparked DJ Shadow's love of the genre. We've also got a cut from what DJ Shadow saw as the one slice of original hip-hop in the early 90s and there's a five minute lesson on the history of hip-hop.

On top of this we were extremely lucky to have the amazing J. Willgoose Esq from Public Service Broadcasting, a fine DJ and producer in his own right. Mr. Willgoose came by for a wonderful session and to talk about his own music and love of DJ Shadow, helping us pick out some contemporaries along the way.
