Known among her peers for having bags of creative energy & a daring spirit, it didn’t take long before she carved a niche as one of the country’s few female party spinners. Nabila was awarded the Choons Award for Best New DJ in 08/09 and named Best Female DJ in 09/10 and 10/11 consecutively. She joined the OMP Entertainment repertoire of DJs soon after, gaining her more traction in the local club scene. Being one of the very few female DJs who play purely house music, she scored several golden opportunities to warm-up for House legend Mark Farina & her favorite DJ/Producer Sonny Fodera in 2011. She also brought her groovy beats to Zouk as part of an all-female collective for Queens of Hearts, appearing alongside DJ Stella Nutella & Janette Slack. Citing influences from Random Soul, Sonny Fodera, Wattie Green, Mark Farina, The House Inspectors, South of Roosevelt & Corduroy Mavericks, you can be assured of a fun, house-infused dancefloor the next time you catch her on the decks.
