There're no hard and fast rules when it comes to dance music. Too many producers and DJs pigeonhole themselves into select slithers of musical genres, but that's not always what a crowd wants.
In this mix I've mashed up tunes new and old from when I was growing up - a range of breaks, 4/4, hip hop, pop, rock, and all bits between. It starts at 100bpm and slowly accelerates to 132bpm.
Above all it's meant to be fun. It's meant to twist up your expectations of what works together. From moody to upbeat to downright dirrty, but never lacking in beats and bass.

Quality! Too late for me to enter this now. I'll have to keep an eye out next year. I'll be interested to see who wins, and what style is selected to represent... Should be a cool festival.
