Music has always played a big part in my life. Right from when I was a very young kid I was exposed to a variety of music styles - soul, funk, jazz, afrobeat, juju, pop, rock, etc. Two records remain in my memory as the driving force that took my passion for music to a higher plane: Sly & The Family Stones' Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin); and For The Love Of Money by The O'Jays.

During my secondary school days I ventured into DJing and became the No.1 DJ at friends' house parties. The mid 80s introduced me to the Brighton (UK) nightclub scene. I had stints at Rumours, Toppers, West Beach, Oriana's, Zipadeedoodah, Jazz Place.

Nowadays you can hear me on the radio - ReachOnAir.com (Tuesdays 12pm-2pm) and BearTown Radio (Sundays 11pm-1am). Both shows are called 'mistaGROOVE's OldSpice Jams'. If you love classic soul, funk, jazz and dancefloor hits, you will love mistaGROOVE's OldSpice Jams.
