Traxman is one of the longest serving Footwork producers in Chicago with Ghetto House releases stretching back into the 90s on Dancemania records and his coloured mixtapes which were the prototype for the evolution of Footwork tracks. Along with RP Boo, DJ PJ, DJ Clent, DJ Chip, Rashad & Spinn he can be counted among the originators of the sound.

Traxman's brand of Footwork is strongly rooted in Chicago's history of Soul, Funk, House and Ghetto Trax - and this is all totally evident when you listen to the mix. His sound has a natural inbuilt funk & economy of rhythm which is his signature sound.

This mix is an object lesson in Traxman's unique mind and a showcase of what will be coming out in 2012 on his albums for Planet Mu Records and Lit City Trax...
