On Friday the 10th June we welcomed along the rather splendid Martin Brew for some good old musical tomfoolery. The show is a real gem, meandering through some tip top tunage including a choral version of radiohead, some splendid glitch hop from shlohmo and Baba Yaga, NZ's Mr Mockassin with my tune of the moment, dreamscapey downbeats from Tokimonsta, lush nu funk from The stepkids and Mr Kinawuka, crushed electronics from LUkid and Exile and the seemingly unstoppable Bibio on top form. Before handing over to Martin we end the first part with a few dalliances in that mid tempo boogie sphere before passing over to one of Manchesters finest Martin Brew whom I've lovingly danced to on the floors of this Island many a time to : ) Martin gives us a lesson in quality midtempo disco/boogie vibes with a simply amazing 45 minutes through dancefloor bliss.....check
