Mikel Douglas begins his path towards electronic music in 2005, after discovering the deep and abstract sound of dance music genres like house, tech house, minimal and techno. Shortly after this revelation, Mikel Douglas becomes inspired and intuitive to the life -culture of being a DJ/producer. His sound can be labeled as deep, funky, hypnotic grooves and rhythms, very characteristic of the avante-garde minimal, house, and techno labels from the subcultures in and around the world.

It didn’t take long before Mr.Douglas gives birth to an entity sustained by atypical music and art expression. The entity is known as "Purominimal”, an artist label showcasing inspirational and talented artists with a deep connection with music and art.
