I properly got into music in the early 80s listening to hip hop and electro on Mike Allens radio show and would buy the odd piece of vinyl at my local record store. This led me to soul, jazz, funk and disco.
I first heard house in 89 at a night called 'Outer Limits' in Milton Keynes hosted by Eddie Richards and went to underground parties such as 'Wiggle'. I followed the scene for a number of years but also kept up with soul, jazz, funk, hip hop and disco via Gilles Peterson through the 90s.
I started djing in the early 90s and over the years have put on a few small parties and played at bars, pubs and the odd festival in MK.
Whilst I still love underground house music my roots are firmly planted in the soulful side of jazz, hip hop and disco, as this was where it all started for me.
These are some of the mixes I've produced.
