In 2010 Matty Bassdriver hooked up with long time friend DJ Matt Fear to promote the first of their hugely successful RE-ViVED oldskool events (www.facebook.com/revived2010). RE-ViVED events have now rocked The Nines, Barrow SIX times between 2010 & 12...'bringing the past to the present' with some of the biggest headliners imaginable gracing the REViVED decks - STU ALLAN, SY, SLIPMATT, ALLISTER WHITEHEAD, Radio 1's DJ KUTSKI & MARK XTC (Mixfactory)...north-west heroes BAKER, BELL, ABSOLUTE, DAVIES, PENDLE & BARRIE JAY...& local faves KEITH CAPSTICK, CHARLIE, FITCH, MATT FEAR & Matty BASSDRIVER...not to mention the MC's IRIE & SMOKE :) Event NUMBER 7 will take place in 2013 \O/

This set was recorded live at RE-ViVED4 in Sept 2011 and features a floorfilling journey of oldskool house, italian synth and rave anthems, including a number of Bassdriver's re-made mash-ups, with lyrical support from Zone/Goodtimes/Fever favourite MC SMOKE :)

Nicola...(& everyone else reading this) if u love ur oldskool...u should get up 2 Barrow 4 our nxt RE-ViVED event (31st March) - check out our Facebook page (Facebook.com/revived2010) 4 links 2 the event page. Got loads of true oldskool ravers from far & wide coming over 4 this. Will b a TOTAL sellout & a truly AWESOME nite & our crew will make u all VERY welcome.
