Matty Harris aka The Narcoleptic, began spinning in 1986, but it wasn't until he moved from the suburbs to the city of chicago in the early 90's that he found his true calling in the underground scene. Finally, after a lot of hard work and dedication, he earned himself a residency at smart bar's Tuesday night romp,"Pump",where his dear friends Derrick Carter, Miles Maeda and Terry Martin also played host to many up and coming All stars. When"Pump" came to a conclusion, Matty became a part of "The" thriving urban clubscene. With residencies all over the city of Chicago ,and playing with top players such as Derrick Carter, D.J. Sneak , Mark Farina, Diz, and the list continues.

Currently, Matty's commitments are to his studio. He has released compositions on Classic under his moniker, The Narcoleptic. Not to mention a slew of tracks for Loveslap as Matty Harris ,and also as The Evolving Doors,featuring guest vocalist Hawk.
