Peter Gabriel is to me the greatest artist of this planet. I would love one day, if possible, he saw the project I have for people with physical mobility problem so we can take this idea to the world. Maybe one day. Thanks Mark wiazeved@terra.com.br

Wow, as always Peter's evolution is inspiring. I've been a great fan since his early Genesis days and still get chills listening to those early recordings. The first time I saw him perform was at the California Theatre in San Diego, Ca for his second solo album tour (scratches) around 1978. I worked in the record business for 20 years. I was with EMI Music when Real World began it's US distribution through Virgin/EMI in the US market. The label was introduced to the EMI staff in a video presentation near LAX. After the video presentation was over Peter himself came walking down the isle to make his own personal introduction. He has always been my favorite artist not just by virtue of his music but his perpetual effort to improve our world through music and technology.

Being a recording engineer of many years in North Carolina, I spend every day in a 'shed'. A dream I have is to someday visit Real World Studios, assuming there are public tours. A glimpse of greatness would surely change my world.

Fantastic interview. This is the music of my twenties (and on). Nusrat Feteh Ali Khan, Geoffrey Oryema, and of course the great Peter Gabriel. Such beautiful, timeless music. It's great that these are getting a re-release, as some of this stuff never managed to make it onto my computer (strange how we think of music these days). And, as always, it's great to hear from one of my personal heroes (p.g. of course), and glad to know he's still out there cooking up stuff. Hope Real World Records sticks around for another couple of decades (at least)!
