Songs composed and sung by me in 1996 - 1998. I used a Roland XP-50 keyboard and I tried to sketch some ideas somewhat in the spirit of jazz music. Now I'm photographer and filmmaker... but music will remain forever my greatest passion.

Back blues could suit well with a Tarantino's movie.. :-)
and your "asiatic glimpse" sound remnds me a song i did long long time ago, in tribute to Ryuichi Sakamoto... i'll try to give it to listen to you, if i find a way to bring my k7 sounds to pc ;-)
anyway, all the selection is a really great "fusion" of the wonderful épique epoca !***

No one had ears for this kind of music in those times here. I had many friends musicians. Nobody wanted to play in this genre. Between 1994 and 1995 I composed over 100 songs and I did not receive a sign to like someone. At that time I had no music school ... and I decided it was time to make a music college. And I did. After college I found myself drained of inspiration. 10 years after I wrote music very rarely. And I have not played with people... for various reasons. One of these reasons was family.. they not believe that making music is a job. The same with photography. Another reason was school. I believe that education in school does not keep pace with human power to learn. Or maybe society does not need smart people ... anyway... I hope to come a major change in the educational system. I know that music composed by me was not so great (in any case I'm not a good instrument) but it was just a start... a small explosion in an unfavorable place. But... I still smiling after all these 20 to 30 years. I still do music for film and theater and music remains forever my life.

Prolific was Miles Davis ... if you remember his studio album which was released after his death - Doo-Bop (1991). Not because he juggling with hip hop... but because he gave another impulse to the jazz music. It was quite hated for that in musical medium. He knew that musical styles must meet to be born something new.

I felt something like that maybe 15 years ago when I heard someone's music from Iceland... that comes with a style (concept) of fairly new music. Then I found in Italy a band (oneman band if I remember well) with a similar sound. They were unknown at that time. After a while, pretty much .. they have won the name of 'Sigur Ros'. and the group from Italy 'NoSound'. I thought then what will happen when club music will meet with the vein of Sigur Ros .... with the rock of NoSound or... Blackfield later on, or others.
When I came here, on Mixcloud... that's what I found! Nice :)
I think it's time for something new to be born.... I hope so.

Indeed. The story was very beautiful, this meeting between photography and music, when I was child. For many years I did these two arts. But at some point, everything has stopped. I asked myself this question for a long time ... where I want to go. I was passionate about architecture, painting, writing, fashion, the art of acting, the arts in general... so, yes! ... all are found in the 7th art, in the film. It was like a revelation for me at the age of 39 years. Last year I finished a film college. And know I already think about the future... what will happen again... :)

I think that inevitably, when listen or write music... images are born consciously or unconsciously. Music has this power over us. Music is the root of my "sins" now... :)
If I go on with my thoughts... I think that what really connect us with environment, with the nature, including art and everything we do... the rhythm is the main connection. The rhythm is the heart of everything.
