Singer/Songwriter/Producer/DJ/Label Owner, Marissa Guzman is the perfect example of the word DRIVEN. She does it all, and her talent shines through. In 2009 she quit her high profile job in marketing to produce her first album (Joy Road). In 2011 Black Coffee's remix of "Time To Go" went straight to #1 on Traxsource, and in 2012 it was nominated for Remix of the Year at the SAMAs (South Africa's version of the GRAMMYs). Marissa also released the Joy Road Remix album on her label, Juicy Lucy this year, with remixes from Kerri Chandler, Mr. V, Black Coffee, Rithma, Demarkus Lewis, Paul Randolph (Jazzanova), Pirahnnahead and more, with 50% of all proceeds going to NextAid. 2012 was also a pivotal year for Marissa because she took her live set to another level, debuting at WMC in Miami playing 10 gigs in 5 days. Doing a Live Ableton DJ set gave Marissa even more artistic freedom because it allows her to combine her sultry live vocals while playing her famous hits & other club favorites!
