There is a phenomenon taking place every summer, when the temperature just doesn't stop rising: The hotter it gets, the more people are heading outdoor, mostly focusing on the waterfront - beaches, rivers, lakes or (public) swimming pools. Often enough they bring along their favourite music, which accompanies them like a score and connects certain memories to certain tracks.
Let's be honest, we all have at least one song which reminds us of a special event, location, feeling or person. And so do I, but I might have "a few more" than others. ;) This is my mixed selection of summer tracks, remembering me primarily of a few excursions to lakes and rivers - at some point, I got the idea of producing a summer-related mixset, using the above mentioned tunes.
