Made in New York and now living in the Tampa Bay area with a musical background from the heavens above. Luis Martinez now the owner and CEO of Monsta Recordings started as a DJ . in 1985 . After playing as a DJ the local circuit his career started to boost in 1991 when the electronic scene began in Long Island , New York . Luis was soon introduced to the electronica era of spinning vinyl where he played along side of other vinyl junkies like : Frankie Bones, Micro, Dave Trance , Lil' Louie Vega , Danny Tenaglia , Junior Vasquez , James Christian , Sameer , Onionz , Joeski , Adam X , Lord G, and Roger Sanchez just to name a few . Soon after developing his signature sound Luis started traveling the globe in 1994 and was invited to play at some of the most respected venues & promotions such as Caffeine , Octagon , Palladium , Limelight , Mars , Ministry of Sound ( London ) , Playboy ( France ) , Lemon Club ( Tokyo ) and the list goes on .
