London Fields Live Sessions is a regular show for London Fields Radio in which we invite a musician, or group of musicians, who have caught our eye to come and serenade the customers of the Wilton Way Cafe and to talk about their music or whatever takes their fancy. This time we were joined by the wonderful Marthas and Arthurs.

Brought together by a mutual love of singing harmonies, the voices of Marthas & Arthurs (two girls, two boys) were forged around a campfire in the Herefordshire woods.

Their monthly residency 'Marthas & Arthurs Presents…' at the Scolt Head pub in Dalston, London, started in February this year and continues on the first Thursday of every month in celebration of the release of the ‘Apes in Aeroplanes EP’.

They are currently completing the recording of their first album, due for release in the summer.
