It began as a simple internet search last week... and ended with me dropping $20 on itunes.

What was the first rock and roll song?

Fucking science man... they don't have a definitive answer, but wikipedia comes darn close.

Now that is a good read for a music nerd like me. I ended up downloading a bunch of the suggestions from the list and thought I'd share them with you while also practising to use my garageband (I hate this program, but its what I got).
