James Simmons, born in 1983, is a rising star on the UK's DJ and House music production scene and is based in London.

His style ranges from Deep House to full on tech and minimal. His innovative warm up sets are becoming something of legend throughout the London club scene whilst his productions are being noted for their attention to melody and warmth.

"I've been listening to house music for nearly 15 years, and I think these days there is such a huge increase in genres, style and production approach, that you don't want to type-cast yourself into one genre of electronic music.

"I spend a lot of time hunting for new and innovative sounds - and there's some really cutting edge stuff out there, particularly in the realm of deep house with labels such as Freerange records, Room With A View pushing the envelope and putting out some very talented producers like André Lodermann, Pezzner, Matt Masters
