So... many moons ago I went out to Japan on a record buying trip. A friend who ran the blog Horse Latitudes asked me to go through what I had bought and make a little mixtape. I pulled together some tracks - not all by Japanese artists, some are Japan only tracks. The result was Tokyo Drifter part one (there is a part two somewhere, I have to find it).
The first track is off the amazing album Spacy. The guy in the store in Tokyo told me Madlib had been in the week before and bought it for sampling, so I kicked off with that.
