Iankoo started djing when he was 15. His father owned a record store and had a good selection of dance music. During his childhood he began gathering records for his own collection. He grew up listening to Depeche Mode, Enigma and a lot of euro house and euro dance music. He played music for the first time on his father’s stereo system for school parties. By the time he finished high school, he became notorious in his home town, as the freak who had all the music upfront.
