Had a great session with Astroboy at 99 this week.

You know you're ok when people come up and say you're absolutely smashing it, which is exactly what happened while Astroboy was spinning on Wed. Hardly surprising when he was pulling out such choice cuts from the likes of The Detroit Experiment, Part Time Heroes, Dauwd, Anhorsong, Roots Manuva, Mia Dora/Hahaha/Raksha, Submotion Orchestra/Synkro, Falty DL, Joe, Klic, Little Dragon, Geiom, Girl Unit and SBTRKT.

My own selection included LW's ace mashup/dub of Talking Heads and KC Flight, Malcolm Maclaren, Locussolus/Lindstromm, Oliver $, Leonidas's edit of Gary's Gang, Bepu N Gali/Todd Terje, DJ Shadow/Little Dragon, Bobby Womack, Fire For Effect, Rustie, Prince, and our own rmx of The Sons.

Track 1 (a bona fide classic from back in the day at both Trouble and Dept Lounge) is from Astroboy, tracks 2-7 are from me, 8-20 from Astroboy and then the final eight from me.
