Here’s something extra special for your hungry ears to digest. After four years, the Bongolian returns with another instant classic. “Bongos for Beatniks” is just a pure honest gem that the fine folks at Blow Up records, by way of Mr. Mondo, were gracious enough to see that I got to hear a copy of ahead of time. I just can’t get enough of those heavy beats... and that Hammond... wow! There are plenty of floor fillers and funky breaks that will satisfy one and all. Check it out for yourself by way of this little cut and paste style sampler that I pieced together this morning.
