There aren´t many electronic music labels that can boast having a certain sound baptized after their own name. There´s even fewer who are seen as amongst most influential of their time and genre.
Munich-based Prologue is one such case. A little over 3 years after it´s inception, anyone who keeps up-to-date with the techno world knows what the "Prologue sound" is. It´s TECHNO, but techno which takes in minimal, IDM, ambient, industrial and even trance, always with a message, even if it´s the message told by the inner voices in us that this type of sound awakens. This mix tries to be an introduction to newcomers to Prologue, or a refresh to those already familiar with it. Included are a few tracks by Russia´s Dasha Rush, special guest for Elements´ 11th anniversary celebration party, a name associated with this type of sound but also one of the most experimental artists of the genre. Some call this a sound that evokes the beginning of time, or the end of all existence. You decide.
