I taught myself to DJ in 1994 while staying in a strange a foreign land (Stevenage...). Due to my lack of drinking skills and the fact that there was nothing to do but go to the pub, I thought that I'd do something interesting and useful.

Instead, I bought some Soundlab DLP-1 belt drive decks and ended up with a £200/month vinyl habit! Bugger...

Saying that, I ended up playing at a lot of different club nights (including Boom Booom, Absolute Havok, Breakdown and Recovery, Domain, Bandwidth, Champion Sounds, Outbreak, Spiritus, and various others) I've had a lot of fun with it and wouldn't have met my wife without it!

These days, I mix on the PC due to a lack of decks and a love of Reason and Ableton...
