Channel 4 Athletics 2011 Sound Track Playlist Competition

I've compiled this playlist/mix for Phillips Idowu as a kind of contemporary soundboard for fresh British music by British artists with a very crisp and well-defined sound. Things kick of with "Loyalty" as a statement of intent and passion. As triple jump is as much about timing and control as it is about speed and power I've elected to choose a variety of tunes which reflect the breadth there is to the event, not only in the competition (Time to Fly, Triband) but also training (Slowburn, Peru). Also, I've reflected the fun-loving aspect of the nature portrayed by Phillips in his bio with a couple of tunes that allude to footwork on the dancefloor whilst keeping that strong, no-nonsense ethic (Nice Up The Function, Dancing and of course, Warrior's Dance). In any case, I hope that you enjoy the mix, and of course, feedback would be welcome!

Excellent mix, really enjoyed it! I have to agree with below on 'Warrior's Dance' being my favourite but 'Slowburn' and 'Dancing' are great too. Can't keep from tapping my feet along with it all :)
