When I need a haircut, I call my buddy/barber/compadre Marciano for two things, one for the appointment and two for what music he needs. Since he plays in a trío around town, he is always getting requests for new music. Usually it is one or two songs and I give him three or four arrangements so they can pick whichever works best for them. Well, last time before I went in for my usual Raoul Duke buzzcut, he gave me a list of 15 songs! I found all but one and a couple versions of a few. And much like a compost wacko not being able to drive past a curbside bag of leaves, I cannot not make a mix out of a list of songs...
