The tracks in this set are about 4 to 6 years old, and were all tunes being played in clubs in London when I first got into house music. This personal honeymoon period came when electro house was still fresh and exciting and minimal sounds ruled the darker side of the dance floor, before deep and tech influences began to emerge and dominate the genre. Elements of these subgenres can be heard throughout the mix, which consists of music chosen for its high energy and groove, and should make for an interesting, nostalgic listen.
