Shagz spins a varied mix of breaks and house, criss-crossing moods from funky to techy, deep 'n soulful to full-on bangers. Throw in some golden age hip hop, vintage funk, blunted down tempo or the occasional drum 'n bass or trance track and you have the perfect mix.

Shagz has opened for a variety of artists such as The Crystal Method, Uberzone, David Usher, My Brilliant Beast, Methodology and Audio Playground High & Wide, as well as playing at industry events like the Toronto International Film Festival and the Reel Asian Film Festival. He's also done mixes for the Homegrown podcast at www.TastyFresh.com, and for Focus at www.Beats.to.

Most recently, Shagz has been teaching at the Off Centre DJ School (www.offcentredj.com) as a way to give back to the community, promote the art of djing and inspire music lovers, young and old, to share their passion using the ones and twos.
