Renato Lopes

I have been a record collector since my childhood, back in 1966. I grew up listening to a huge music mess made up from my parents and brothers' records - tango, bolero, classical, tropicalia, mpb (brazilian popular music). When I was 10 years old I got my very first Motown record, which was Jackson 5's ABC, pretty much influenced by J5's cartoon on TV. In 1980 I moved to São Paulo, got a job at a radio station and quickly ended up at a legendary club called Madame Satã. That was my very first residency. Right after got my very first house records coming from the US and Europe. Since then a lot have happened. It's been 25 years now and I'm still enjoying to make people dance and love music
