Since 1996 , Romain Coolen a.k.a. Dj Prosper uses his record players like a ‘Time travelin music machine’.
Dj Prosper's sound is unique and stamped by the label EBGT (Entertaining But Good Taste). This French bloke doesn't hesitate to scramble the tracks by approaching any dancing and dansable styles : Electro/Tropical Bassline/Drum'N'Bass/Soul/Funk/Disco/Reggae...etc
He's got no music He's got no musical borders, his eclectism is an asset to his talent. He is as much at ease mixing in underground rave parties than in Vip's weddings. Prosper shared the stage twice with Dj Krush, The Freestylers, Pendulum, Public Enemy, Detroit Grand Pubahs, Propeller Heads, Riva Starr…etc
Prosper is also a great french producer and has made may releases on on the finest european funky breaks & electro labels like : Goodgroove, Bombstrikes, Expressillon, Manmade, APE, Boxon, Funky Mama’s & Papa’s, Rebel Scream...etc
