DJ Mojo, aka Mojo Rising, a veteran of the Los Angeles underground dance music movement, first broke on the scene back in 1992 as a member of the legendary weekly afterhours "What?" He was soon invited to join the Insomniac roster, playing weekly as well as participating in a number of Insomniac's massives including the early Nocturnal Wonderland events as well as Organic '96.

In 1994, the epic monthly F.A.M.I.L.Y began and Mojo was one of the original residents of this event well-known for its incredible vibe. He has also been a featured guest at many other L.A. events including Fresh Produce, Audiotistic, Magic Wednesdays and T.I.M.E. as well as numerous one-offs, and has played in San Francisco, San Diego, Denver, Dallas and Washington D.C. Mojo's taste is diverse - spinning deep house, breaks, old skool techno, drum & bass and downtempo.

Mojo is currently focused primarily on music production with remixes and original tracks out on Cold Busted and Journees Music.
